Northeast Oklahoma Homeless
Continuum of Care

The Northeast Oklahoma Continuum of Care is a coalition of shelters, social service agencies, public officials and interested citizens who work to serve the homeless, assisting them to return to independent lives. They also work together to assist with rent and utility payments to prevent families from falling into homelessness. The Continuum covers an 11 county area, including Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Sequoyah, Washington and Wagoner Counties.

Northeast Oklahoma Continuum of Care Consortium has announced the HUD COC Notice of Funding Availability for 2019 . These funds serve to assist agencies/shelters to serve chronically homeless individuals and families, domestic violence victims, and permanent supportive housing. All applications must be entered in e-snaps and submitted by September 15, 2019 to be considered by NEO OK COC. New projects submitted will go into national competition for the funds with no guarantee that the applicant will be awarded such funds as HUD makes the final determination regarding project funding awards. For more information regarding the program, eligible projects and access to e-snaps use this link: https://www.hudexchange.info/programs/coc.
