A temporary emergency, such as loss of a job, unexpected medical or prescription costs, or car repair that threatens your employment, can lead to a situation beyond your control. When life throws you unexpected curves, ask for help from us. As funds are available, individuals with a qualifying emergency may ask for assistance once a year for help with past due utility bill, rent or house payment to prevent eviction, disaster relief, prescriptions, housing for homeless, and community referrals. NE OK Homeless Continuum of Care

The Northeast Oklahoma Continuum of Care is a coalition of shelters, social service agencies, public officials and interested citizens who work to serve the homeless, assisting them to return to independent lives. They also work together to assist with rent and utility payments to prevent families from falling into homelessness. The Continuum covers an 11 county area, including Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Sequoyah, Washington and Wagoner Counties. More here>>
