Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive development programs that serve children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families. Services are family and child focused, tuitition free, include parent involvement and education, screenings for health and development, breakfast, lunch, and nutritious snacks are provided daily, and eight locations. A temporary emergency, such as loss of a job, unexpected medical or prescription costs, or car repair that threatens your employment, can lead to a situation beyond your control. When life throws you unexpected curves, ask for help from us. As funds are available, individuals with a qualifying emergency may ask for assistance once a year for help with past due utility bill, rent or house payment to prevent eviction, disaster relief, prescriptions, housing for homeless, and community referrals.
